Bradford Johnson is an artist whose paintings reflect his love for rural Americana. He graduated from Whittier College, where he earned a B.A. in Fine Art. A skilled technician, Roger pioneered translucent techniques in acrylic, writing the successful Farewell to Fond Memories in 1978 on painting in this manner. Roger has received more than 100 awards for his paintings, has taught workshops for the past 16 years, and has been represented by many prestigious galleries. His work has been feature in Southwest Art and Art voices magazines; has been included in such books as Contemporary Western Artists and American Artists of Renown, and, in 1972, he was selected as one of the "Outstanding Young Men of America" by the National Jaycees.
