Editorial Reviews From School Library Journal Gr 2-4--In simple language, Sandeman provides clear information on conception, pregnancy, childbirth, and the growth of babies into toddlers. Full-color photographs and drawings on white backgrounds illustrate the text. The format appears to be for preschoolers, but the information is aimed at older children. However, none of the material is covered in any sort of detail. The revised and expanded edition of Joanna Cole's How You Were Born (Morrow, 1994) is preferable.
