First Letters

First Letters is a series of three workbooks for young children taking their first steps in English. It uses nine child-centered themes to introduce and practice six crucial areas of early literacy:

• Fine motor skills
• Auditory discrimination 
• Visual discrimination 
• Letter-sound correspondence 
• Early reading
• Word blending

In addition, the book includes a selection of practical activities to develop each skill area and notes to support the worksheet activities.
